Since you are now familiar with Further Network; it is time to introduce Further Network’s own currency; Aton (ATON). Acting as a settlement, payment and transaction currency; Aton is the digital coin for participation and use of the ecosystem.

“Aton simplifies, rejuvenates and accelerates the cumbersome, ancient settlement and transactions within the travel industry with Blockchain infrastructure.”

Use-cases of Aton

1. Settlement Currency

All transactions which has a value in the Further ecosystem will be kept in Aton. For instance; an agency in Hong Kong working with other agencies around the globe can see the balance of all the operations in Aton without depending on counterparts’ particular currency, where another conversion say from Thai Baht to Hong Kong Dollars is necessary. This way, organisations will be able to perform their settlement process in real-time with ease.

2. Payment Currency

Every allowed node will have the right to deploy their asset with a smart contract and that will require a transaction cost which will depend on the type and complexity of the transaction. For this reason, all the organisations that are in the ecosystem will need Aton. Also end users will be able to buy tickets from or make reservations at all available product issuers (Airlines, Travel Agencies, Hotels, etc.) in our network; using our wallet system.

3. Transaction Currency

When a party creates any type of transaction using traditional methods; it takes time and bureaucracy requiring a third party involvement. We will incentivize peers to do business in Aton by reducing the cost of the transaction sufficiently -whether it is issuing a ticket, changing a booking, making a settlement etc . Aton will also help to solve the international money transfer as the adoption increases. At the same time, when the demand for Aton increases too much, the transaction costs will be adjusted accordingly so that the costs will not increase too much.

Limited Supply

Aton, is based on Stellar- a Payment Blockchain. Further Network will issue a fixed amount of 7,000,000,000 Stellar tokens as Atons when establishing the ecosystem. This basically means no more Atons will be generated in the future.

Aton will be main driving force that Further Ecosystem will be running on. For this reason, as the number of operations in the Further Blockchain increases, we expect to increase the demand for Aton.

Token Distribution

Token Sale: In our token distribution model 60% of the tokens, which corresponds to 4.2 Billion Atons, will be distributed in our ICO for the public to participate in the project.

Founders & Team: This portion is reserved for the founders and team members of the project.

Ecosystem Development: This portion will be used to build an ecosystem for the travel industry and parties (Airlines, Travel Agencies, Hotels, Car Rentals, Airports, Ground Service Providers etc.)

Advisors: This portion will be used to show our appreciation and gratitude towards our advisors for helping us building this ecosystem and platform.

Incentive Campaigns: This portion will be used for incentive campaigns like Bounty Programs and Airdrops. We want to thank our early supporters and make them feel as a part of our project.

Tokenomics (Price)

We are going to offer our token in 4 stages: Private Sale, Pre-Sale, ICO and Exchange Offering.

The starting offering price for Aton is $0.02.

We aim to collect USD 12,500,000 to develop our Billing, Settlement and Payment platform within the first three stages of our ICO.

Revenue Model

Further Network’s fee structure will reduce transaction costs especially for airlines in travel industry.

Our revenue structure is based on fixed transaction fees as opposed to the other airline solutions with transaction fees based on Global Distribution System (GDS) and International Air Transport Association (IATA) billing, settlement & payment (BSP).

Airlines will be relieved of the high costs by moving to Further Network’s Settlement and Payment Platform. GDS and IATA BSP based transaction fees have high rates and the total cost of transaction fees put significant pressure on most of the airlines. In fact; GDS is USD4–14 per segment and money collection cost is 2% of total Transaction.

Considering the low profit margins of Airlines (2.5% — 5%) moving to Further Network’s fixed-fee structure can increase profits of the Airlines immensely.

You are all caught up on Aton now!
