#29DaysOfBlackLoveSongs: Day 1

Today’s Black Love Song: Nuyorican Soul feat. Jocelyn Brown — I Am The Black Gold of the Sun (4Hero RMX)
Happy Black History Month 2016 here in the U.S.!
We celebrate the past and present heroes of Black History EVERY DAY here from all over the globe, but it’s never a bad thing to shine an even brighter light on folks during the month of February.
Doing a bit of a FuseBox Radio audio celebration online this year called#29DaysofBlackLoveSongs with selecting various tunes that I dig that express all sorts of Black Love — self-love, platonic love, romantic love, love for community, etc. from all sorts of genres repping the Black Diaspora.
This particular tune features the vocals of classic Soul & R&B artist Jocelyn Brown (Jocelyn Brown Music) doing a cover of Rotary Connection’s “I Am The Black Gold Of The Sun” via Nuyorican Soul (Kenny Dope Gonzalez & Little Louie Vega) & 4hero.
Hope that folks enjoy the songs on deck through the month of February under this hashtag, explore more tunes from these artists on deck, share them and more!
