Maybe this title is bobbling your mind right now.
But Yes,
Internet of things or we can say our IoT has already stepped its foot in every sector of our life, for example
In Home Automation (Smart home),
In Wearable s (smartwatch, smart shoes etc),
In industries,
In farming,
In transportation,
In retail,
Even in farming.
well I can say IoT is an Ocean,
you can implement IoT application anywhere to make your work smart and efficient. (you just need to invest some time)
In short, IoT starts making huge changes in our day to day life.
it’s already growing with us.
Don’t believe me?
Ok, let’s have a look on this blog where I will be taking you to the IoT world tour.
IoT in your home!
Imagine a home where the coffee starts brewing as soon as the morning alarm goes off, where the washing machine automatically turns on when you put clothes into it and after work is done automatically goes into the OFF state, the door unlocks automatically when approached by a house member.
yes, all these magical things are possible with IoT.
I can’t explain everything by words. let’s see how IoT can make your home “SMART” or how a smart home looks like!

IoT in your office!
As I said in the previous story IoT can make our work faster, efficient and our
day to day life much easier than we think. let’s see how.

interesting!?
just take a look at another story to know how IoT is connected to our workspace.

IoT in Agriculture:
yes, IoT is playing a significant role in agriculture too.
IoT can help farmers in a number of ways. At its most basic level, sensors can be deployed across farm and farming machinery in order to enable farmers to gain an abundance of insightful data, such as the temperature of stored produce, the amount of fertilizer used, the amount of water in the soil, etc
by utilizing these data farmers can take the necessary actions to increase their farm’s productivity.
let’s take a look.

IoT in Healthcare:
IoT also has much application or use cases that are not only ensuring better patient care and treatment outcomes but are also bringing new efficiencies that are reducing healthcare costs.you may have heard terms like connected healthcare, IoHT, telehealth all these words are describing application of IoT in healthcare.
Use cases:
→Remote Health and Monitoring
→ Wearable s to Track Patients Health
→ Virtual Health Assistants
→ Reducing Emergency Room Wait Times
→tracking staff, patient and inventory
→enhanced drug management

Remote Health and Monitoring -: There are lots of IoT devices available for
checking parameters like blood pressure, blood glucose level, heart rate etc. These devices constantly monitor these parameters if any spike or change in the normal levels occurs that devices generate alert before they become serious. these IoT devices collect health data and send it to a mobile app in which report is generated. The patient can send this report to healthcare professional It will help the healthcare professional to identify any problem or prevent the onset of any disease. With IoT Patient, monitoring can be done remotely at home. There is no need to visit hospitals. By allowing remote patient monitoring the true “connected” potential is realized.

Virtual Health Assistants-: Isn’t it nice if your Virtual Assistants like google home or amazon Alexa reminds you about your medication dose, gives you instruction about your health condition and act like your personal caretaker! with the power of AI, this is possible.

There are lots more applications of IoT in retail, in transportation and in industry too.

In short, IoT is booming in almost each and every sector of our life.In next post we are going to see how can we build our own IoT solution.
