Dear Futourist!

At its core Futourist is about recognizing community effort and rewarding them accordingly. That is why we decided to run several awareness Competitions 30 days before our token crowdsale and reward every supporter with FTR tokens.

The goal of Competitions is to spread as much awareness about the Futourist token crowdsale as possible.

For that purpose we have allocated 5,000,000 FTR tokens (0.5% of total supply) that will be delivered to all eligible competitors soon after the token crowdsale ends.

Entering Competitions and claiming rewards

Futourist will be rewarding its users for writing reviews and we already developed a system that is able to handle such rewarding. We’ll use it to run competitions that will reward competitors for sharing awareness about the Futourist project. Competitions will be fully hosted on the Futourist platform, meaning users will have to log in to Futourist in order to participate in Competitions.

Competitions start on 15th of January, 2018 and they will be active until 15th of March, 2018 — unless there are no remaining tokens, then it will end sooner.

A few weeks after our Token crowdsale, competitors will be able to claim their tokens on our webpage.

So how does one begin?

Register an account
Choose a Competition and participate

Then you will be able to claim rewards after the crowdsale:

Visit futourist.io/compete
Login with your existing account (the one you used for Competitions)
Check the amount of earned tokens and press “Claim” button
Enter your Wallet address and press “Transfer”
Wait for the process to complete and receive your Futourist tokens!

Date and time for claiming rewards will be announced shortly after all competitions have ended.

Types of Competitions and rewards

Because our core objective is to reward true content creators that bring value to our platform, our first Competition will be oriented towards articles, blogs, forum posts, etc. We would love to see people writing articles about Futourist from their personal perspective in various languages on various platforms.

Distribution of Rewards:

Blog & Forum Competition — 25%
Signature Competition — 15%
Telegram Competition — 10%
Youtube Competition — 10%
Facebook Competition — 15%
Twitter Competition — 8%
Newsletter Competition — 10%
Reserved for special community contributions — 7%

Blog & Forum Competition

25% (1,250,000 FTR) of the bounty token pool will be allocated to the Blog & Forum Competition. All posts will be reviewed by our staff and graded. The rewards here are absolute (FTR tokens, not stakes) and depend on your post’s quality.

Rules

Links to the posts shall be submitted to futourist.io/compete
Blog or forum post must contain at least 1000 characters
Post needs to include at least two links to http://ico.futourist.io
Posts need to include at least one image from our portfolio
Post needs to be unique and not automatically translated from any existing content
Posts can be written in any language
Posts can be posted to any blog platform or forum (e.g. Medium, Reddit, Steemit, WordPress,…)

Rewards

Not approved (scams, fakes) — 0 FTR
Good post — 2000 FTR
Great post — 6000 FTR
Staff pick — 25,000 FTR

We will close the Blog & Forum Competition once all the tokens allocated for this Competition are spent. We will be reviewing new posts on a daily basis.

Telegram Competition

10% (500,000 FTR) of the total bounty token pool will be allocated to the Telegram Competition. Telegram Competition is suitable for anyone who wants to join our Telegram, ask questions and follow realtime chat about Futourist. The rewards for this Competition are absolute (FTR tokens, not stakes).

Join our Telegram chat
Register at futourist.io/compete and join the Telegram Competition
Submit your Telegram username to futourist.io/compete/telegram
You must stay subscribed to our Telegram channel at least until the end of the Competition
Token reward pool will be distributed among all eligible entrants of the Telegram Competition, soon after the end of the Competition period

Rewards

300 FTR per eligible Telegram account

We will close the Telegram Competition once all the tokens allocated for this Competition are spent.

Newsletter Competition

10% (500,000 FTR) of the bounty token pool will be allocated to the Newsletter Competition.

Rules

Newsletter signup is available at futourist.io or during registration at futourist.io/compete
All newsletter subscribers will be rewarded at the end of the Competition period
Futourist will take measures to prevent fake, double or invalid email address subscriptions. Methods we’ll use to do that will not be publicly announced.
Token reward pool will be distributed among all valid Competitors, soon after the end of the Competition period, proportionally to the total stakes they collected.

1 valid newsletter signup — 10 stakes

Signature Competition

15% (750,000 FTR) of the bounty token pool will be allocated to the Signature Competition. Participating in the Signature Competition requires you to change your BitcoinTalk profile signature.

Rules

You need to post from 10 to 50 new Bitcointalk posts during a single week to get stakes for that week
Submitted posts must be meaningful, constructive, on-topic and must contain 40 words or more, replies should be 15 words long or more
Signature must be visible and stay unchanged throughout the Competition period
Stakes for this Competition will be assigned at the end of every week during the Competition period
Weeks have the same weight (Week 1 is no different from Week 2 and so on)
The final amount of competitor’s stakes is a simple sum of all weekly stakes
Token reward pool will be distributed to all valid entrants of the Signature Competition, soon after the end of the Competition period, proportionally to the total stakes they collected.

Full Member — 50 stakes per eligible week
Sr. Member, Hero or Legendary — 80 stakes per eligible week

Youtube Competition

10% (500,000 FTR) of the total bounty token pool will be allocated to the Youtube Competition.

Youtube Competition is suitable for anyone that is willing to make a video about Futourist and post it publicly on YouTube.

Rules

Videos shall be posted to Youtube and the link submitted to futourist.io/compete
Video must present some basics about the Futourist project, must include a link to our webpage and must state the details of the token crowdsale (date and link)
Stakes shall be assigned proportionally to the total video views on the last day of the crowdsale The video does not necessarily need to be about Futourist only, but it must contain an impactful message about Futourist
This does not mean the video blogger must be super hyped about our project, it means saying only 5 words about Futourist will not get you rewarded
Token reward pool will be distributed among all eligible competitors, soon after the end of the Competition period, proportionally to the stakes competitors collected

Rewards

1 video view — 10 stakes

Facebook Competition

15% (750,000 FTR) of the bounty token pool will be allocated to the Facebook Competition.

Rules

You will need to log into futourist.io/compete with your Facebook account in order for us to be able to track your posts
You will first need to like the official Futourist Facebook page
Pre-made Facebook posts will be available for you to share
Facebook posts must be shared publicly (Public privacy setting)
Futourist will be measuring user engagement on shared posts
Fake accounts, bots, scams and other fraudulent accounts will be marked as invalid and will be fully excluded from the competition
Token reward pool will be distributed among all eligible competitors, soon after the end of the Competition period, proportionally to the stakes competitors collected

Rewards

1 post like — 10 stakes
1 post comment — 20 stakes
1 post share — 50 stakes

Twitter Competition

8% (400,000 FTR) of the total bounty token pool will be allocated to the Twitter Competition.

Rules

You will need to login to futourist.io/compete with your Twitter account in order for us to be able to track your retweets
You will first need to follow the official Futourist Twitter profile
Pre-made Twitter posts will be available for you to retweet
Only one retweet per day is allowed
During the Competition period you can retweet once every day
Fake accounts, bots, scams and other fraudulent accounts will be marked as invalid and will be fully excluded from the competition
Token reward pool will be distributed among all eligible competitors, soon after the end of the Competition period, proportionally to the stakes competitors collected

Rewards

1 retweet, <50 account followers — 0 stakes
1 retweet, 51–300 account followers — 10 stakes
1 retweet, 301–1000 account followers — 20 stakes
1 retweet, 1000+ account followers — 50 stakes

Translations & Moderation

Contributors willing to translate our english BitcoinTalk thread and moderate the translated thread can contact us individually through our Telegram channel. Rewards for the translations will be taken from the Special Contributions pool.

Shortly after the Futourist Crowdsale Community Competiton is finished, we will post another blog with instructions on how to claim your FTR tokens.
