We’re excited to announce Future Data, a new open, accessible forum to connect the leading voices in data with a vibrant community of technical experts to talk about “what’s next.”

Why is now the time for Future Data? While we have access to more data than ever before, there are few open, vendor-independent spaces where the data community can share cutting-edge practices, meet the people behind the most intriguing research, and collaborate on new ideas.

That’s our vision for Future Data: an open, inclusive community spanning the full data tooling and systems stack. This conference kicks off as a free virtual event on September 8th and 9th and is open to people from every data discipline who want to learn, connect, and hone their craft. At the conference, leading voices in data will share their deep industry and research expertise and help guide the conversation on the future of data. Our speaker list is growing fast and includes:

Future Data is supported by a large number of organizations across the data and analytics spectrum. The initial list of Supporting Organizations includes Alteryx, Data 2 the People, Imply, and Sisu. The global research community is also driving the conversation, with speakers from the University of California, Berkeley, Stanford University, University of College Park, Maryland, and NYU Abu Dhabi.

There’s more to come on speakers and sessions, but make sure you reserve your spot today.

Registration is officially open, and we hope you’ll join us (virtually) on September 8th and 9th. Follow @futuredataconf on Twitter to join the conversation and receive updates on new speakers, activities, and ways to contribute.

See you at Future Data!
