Machine learning identifies foetal size from ultrasound images
Researchers from Seoul based Yonsei University have developed a three stage (and very advanced) convolutional neural network (CNN) trained on 182 ultrasound images. They obtained accurate segmentation in 87% of cases.

A paper, co-authored by Peltarion, the Stanford School of Medicine and the Chan-Zuckerberg Biohub, finds that AI could be used to predict changes in DNA sequences critical in medical diagnosis and vaccine developments.
