Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance is ignorant. It is the state of being uneducated. It is both the father and foundation of so much of what is wrong with our world today. We are divided because of ignorance. We still put our hope in political promises because of ignorance. We talk more than we act because of ignorance. Although reading is not the solution for every problem, it goes a long way to curing ignorance. It fuels knowledge and knowledge is power. You can keep your bliss if you want to. The rest of us will take power. Here’s what I read or finished reading over the last 30 days.

Servant of the Servants: A Biblical Theology of Leadership by Don N. Howell Jr.
The Generals: American Military Command from WWII to Today by Thomas E. Ricks
The Mythical Leader by Ron Edmondson
How to Lead When You Are Not in Charge by Clay Scroggins
