As we know, cars have been around for 100’s of years and are a market that isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. However, due to the fact that so many people have cars, alternative power sources need to be found.

One example of a possible fuel source is the first ever car. When I say the first car, I don’t mean the model T car, I mean the cars that were around for 100 years before the model T, Steam powered cars. Unlike burning fossil fuels, steam cars ran off of water. In a day and age where we worry about global warming and emissions, what better way to power a car than by using water. While this system has faded into the distance, it makes for a very interesting alternative fuel source that very well could be the future of cars.

While it may not seem like it now, the age of the Internal combustion motor is fading away, being taken over by electric cars. Using an internal combustion motor burns fossil fuels, depleting our resources of fossil fuels, along with polluting the air. This is just one reason electric cars will take over in the future. While gasoline can run out in the future, electricity can be created and is the resource of the future.

These are just two examples, but the age of internal combustion is coming to an end because of its large amounts of pollution. These are just two examples of alternative sources that can take over, just imagine how many ways the world of cars will change if this is changed.
