We are proud to unveil the eight education entrepreneurs who will pitch at 4.0 SCHOOLS EDUCATION PITCH — THE FUTURE OF SCHOOL STARTS HERE. The pitch night is a component of New Orleans Entrepreneur Week.

This year we decided to team up with the Recovery School District and the Orleans Parish School Board to compile key local priorities and source education entrepreneurs to tackle them. Our combined efforts have brought together 9 entrepreneurs who will compete against each other for $10k. Each entrepreneur is building a school or solution targeting one or more of the following student populations:

  1. Students with special needs, particularly those with moderate to severe disabilities
  2. Students who are court-involved in secure care
  3. Students who are English language learners
  4. Students with mental health needs
  5. Students who are two or more years over age for their grade level
  6. Students seeking expanded pathways in high school and for post-secondary success in high demand, high wage careers

Meet the entrepreneurs and read more about their ventures below and then come out and meet them for yourself Monday, March 14. After they pitch our panel of judges compiled of alumni and special guests from RSD and OPSB, you can ask them questions and learn more about their ventures.
