As we become more advanced, we are adapting to changes. The smartphone has made us use less paper, which helps out our environmental impact. Remember when you used to print out directions, boarding passes, read an actual copy of the paper, or actually write someone a letter? Those days are over in most cases, because something as simple as the smartphone can change the way you do tasks.

  • Do not have to pay shipment prices for letters or books
  • Instantly get but you bought, no 5–7 business day wait

In Michael Saylor’s book, The Mobile Wave, he illustrated the future with paper is simply vanshing. As stated, as days progress, we are finding ourselves using less and less paper.

“A printed page is just one static page. A mobile screen can be every page ever written, delivered anywhere at any time, equipped with myriad interactive power.” (Saylor 42) Mobile libraries are making everyday life easier. The mobile smartphone can now do so much and can do so many different tasks at the same time. Michael Saylor was depicting all the advantages that the mobile world will bring, and included all the future the smartphone will have. This will ultimately kick smart the future of work in the mobile world.
