This is what we could get
It’s bad enough losing our federal government to idiots, assholes and criminals. If the Musk/Trump regime were tearing down dysfunctional parts, such as the black hole of the Defense Department, privatized health insurance, and privatized education, none of them would have done what they were supposed to do for all residents. In that case, there might be a path through this mess.
That is not what is happening, and what is claimed isn’t what is happening either. The destruction of the federal government is more than a coup or putsch.
As an early advocate of AGI as the means of eliminating ruling elites and implementing proper democratic systems, I am furious that TechBros behind Trump are usurping this for precisely the opposite purpose.
What is happening is the opposite of every revolution in the last three hundred years. The goal is to eliminate human management of our affairs by handing everything over to a cohort of self-styled geniuses with technical intelligence and little else who will use AGI to rule and control us.
