Those of you who know me know that one of my passions is to share knowledge in any format: from a lecture at a big event to informally with a good cold beer. That’s why in the last years I haven’t stopped giving classes in many schools (IE, Headspring, UXER, UPSA, DIC, IED…) and incorporating more and more topics: Learning to learn, Moonshot Thinking, Design Futures, Agile Mindset, Liquid Innovation… And that’s why I started two years ago a crazy thing called Future Today where I published 300 articles in one year with the aim of learning faster about certain topics as I was sharing.

For some time now I have created a dynamic in which one year I “lock myself in” to study, sharing less and internalizing more, and the next year I learn by sharing and reduce (or try to, being a compulsive curious is not easy…) the level of study. This year is one of the second.

The little I have learned lacks value, compared to what I ignore and do not despair of learning — Descartes

If you want to learn, teach — Cicero

To teach is not a vital function, because it has no end in itself; the vital function is to learn — Aristotle

If you can’t explain something in simple terms, you haven’t understood it — Richard Feynman

That’s why I’ve picked up Future Today again and evolved it. Now, besides publishing in Medium and Linkedin in English, I have created a blog where I will share the articles in Spanish, re-publish them in Facebook. In fact, little by little I will be publishing the old Medium articles in the blog. However, the publication level will decrease, probably to 4 articles per month 😅

My goal is to share interesting content on social innovation, disruptive technologies and futures studies, encouraging reflection and critical thinking, contributing with knowledge in this year ahead.

And of course, I have created a weekly newsletter where I will not only include the blog articles, but also share interesting links about social innovation, disruptive technologies and futures studies; I will recommend books, series, films, documentaries, courses… And I will include news about projects I am involved in, such as the Heavy Mental podcast. You can subscribe on the web (there are several forms) or on Linkedin, a new format that I will try. The newsletter will be mainly in english.

I have been wanting to do something like this for years and to retake the passion for blogs that started in 2006 with PisitoenMadrid, a project that gave me a lot of joy; and this is going to be the year.

Let’s go for it! Don’t hesitate to subscribe to the newsletter and see you in the hyperspace 🖖🏻
