Gyroscopic Public Transportation, your future commute?

A few days ago I wrote about the HyperLoop project and how it could come up with a solid solution for the future of transportation. Obviously, there are many other visions and future scenarios, and one of them is the Gyroscopic Public Transportation. The company behind this concept is Dahir Insaat, a Turkish corporation that has developed a new construction technique that allows high quality homes to be built in various architectural styles quickly and with industrial efficiency. At the same time, they’ve been proposing futuristic concepts of services and infrastructures that we use every day. The Gyroscopic Public Transportation is one of the most eye-catching.
The idea is to have a transport based on a floating platform that moves around the city, supported by a large mast that is connected to the road. It’s electric and powered by solar energy. Dahir Insaat has already launched a communication in which they say they are open to all kinds of proposals: licensing it, developing it as a pilot, buying the exclusive right to use it in the future…
The project seems very interesting but we already have a failed attempt that seemed easier to carry out: the Straddling Bus of China. The idea of this project captivated hundreds of thousands of people around the world and in fact became a real pilot in China, where everything ended up being uncovered as a big scam. They are currently dismantling the infrastructure they created for it… What do you think?
