One of the things I admire the most is when someone manages to explain complex subjects in a simple way, simple but not simplistic. Someone with that ability not only denotes intelligence but wisdom. When I talk about this I always think of Richard Feynman and his nickname “The Great Explainer” for his ability to explain abstract concepts of the world of science in a simple way. Have you watched the video of the 4th dimension and the Tesseract?

Now I’m sharing with you the EconomicPrinciples.org platform of Ray Dalio, American billionaire, founder of Bridgewater Associates, hedge fund manager and philanthropist. In the platform we can find several papers, his book “Principles: Life & Work” (a best-seller that the New York Times called a “gospel of radical transparency”) converted into an 8-chapter animated mini-series and a video: “How the economic machine really works”.

In this last video, Dalio carries out a masterful exercise where he explains in a very simple way how the complex economic system in which we live works, introducing concepts such as credit, deficit, inflation and interest rates, allowing us to learn the basic driving forces of the economy, how economic policies work and why economic cycles occur. Highly recommended!
