Yesterday I wrote about the National Geographic documentary “Year Million”, whose promo was lead by Michio Kaku and I realized it was time to talk about this iconic figure in the world of futurism. Michio Kaku is an American theoretical physicist, specialist in string field theory; but he acquired his fame as a futurologist and scientific evangelist. In addition to television and radio programs, he is the author of such genius books as “Physics of the Impossible” (2008), “Physics of the Future” (2011) or “The Future of the Mind” (2014), and just launched his new book “The Future Of Humanity” (2018).

Compiling interventions by Michio Kaku, I discovered a very recent one, from the World Government Summit in Dubai, in which he talks about what the future will look like from a technology perspective. Although Kaku has all my respects and is a renowned scientist in very complex disciplines such as string theory, I always find it hard to see how he talks and ventures into the future with such certainty and security… And I’m not the only one, that’s why in many occasions he gets involved in great controversies.

Here you can find some amazing and recent talks by Michio Kaku:

Searching for Michio Kaku’s interventions I discovered an on-demand documentary platform called Curiosity Stream, where Kaku has a series of documentaries called Next World. This is the first episode. Also very interesting!
