Airbnb redesigns platform to fight discrimination claims
Airbnb is downplaying several of its features that the company believes could be enabling discrimination among users. The company is no longer displaying photos of hosts on the listings page, which also shows images of the homes.

The changes come after a Harvard University study found that black hosts earn 12 percent less than non-black hosts. The firm has also developed a new product team that focuses specifically on creating solutions to reduce bias on the site.
