Who says that New York city does not have nature to enjoy? Well, even that it has beautiful views upstate to experience. But NY never stop surprising you, it has something better than that. A combination between nature and urban zone. This is Central Park, the biggest urban Park in the city. Located from Central Park South (59th St) to 110th St. on the East Side to Central Park West 8th Ave. (see http://centralpark.org/faq/) with 843 acres.

Magnificent green views, restaurants, little stores, a small zoo. Baseball, Tennis and Football fields, water fountains with ducks and Squirrels running around. Buildings around giving an urban decoration to the park. To visit the Park, you will have a couple of options. Horse and carriages tour. It will cost you between $110 to $155 in low season, and around $255 during the high season. This is a way where a lot people plan marriage proposals or decided to receive a tour as the old times. If you’re planning to propose you can also plan this with time in advance. http://www.centralpark.com/guide/tours/horse-carriage-tours.html

For those sport lovers there is also an option, to rent bikes. It will be cheap and you can also work out at the same time, and make stops whenever you want. This rental cost approximately $15 per hour including helmet and lock as well. I really recommend this option.

During the summer this Park gets crowded, you will see a lot people enjoying the weather, doing picnics, some of them reading books, or just simple women getting tan. There are some walking tours, but it will take the entire day.

In Central Park you can find different events of activities depends of the season. Some of them are sponsored by the city, or you also can appreciate some street artist demonstrating their talents.

This is NY where you can face stuff that you never imagine you will see in your life

There are some activities you can enjoy during different seasons, remember the Summer is coming up. If you are a fitness person there is a 5K Fun Run, Marathons and Yoga classes that you can join http://www.centralpark.com/guide/fitness.html.

The 7th Annual Shakespeare’s Birthday coming up on Abril 21 2017, this event is Free. The Central Park Film Festival a free activity in August where you can enjoy and watch some movies at the Park. Summer Stage Festival is an outdoor festival held at Central Park as well. When you will have the opportunity to see a lot performance of famous people. ( see the calendar for this year: http://www.centralpark.com/guide/activities/concerts/summerstage-festival.html)

If you have a family plan, there is also a Central Park Carousel and over 20 children’s playgrounds around to enjoy with your children and meet new cute friends.
