- Place to live — Rent a room, or apartment that is up to your plan .
A room in Singapore around 250–350sgn/one person this is share with another in one room. 500sgn — 700sgn/ one person is alone in 1 room. All this price is for HDB in Singapore. If you want condo, near downtown ( Newton, Novena, Orchard, Somerest ) around 1500–1800sgn/one person is alone 1 room.
Aaprtment — It will more get from you more money same like ur size hihi, just funny.
Price around 1800–10,000sgn . Big, near, clean and new is will more money for you. ^^!
About paper work when you start to rent whole apartment will more job, you should work with agency, easy and better for you cause is frist time.
Will give agency normally half your rent for one month, deposit for owner one month and rent for one month that all money is the frist you need pay for your comfortable is your own place …
2.Should I rent or buy a car? a bike ?
In Singapore is small island city, that why, is hard for rent, or own a car, a bike. Easy for you is use mrt, bus public or take a taxi.
But if you going have plan to be PR or Singaporean in 5 years more, sure rent a car or buy a car is your long term plan.
3. Eating out or cooking at home ?
So…this one is my lovely point in this topic, cause i love to eat out side haha. In Singapore is one of the best place for all you guy come here, stay and can try all of food from around Asia like India, Indo, Phili, Thailand, Vietnam, Malay, Sing, China, Japan, Korean….Price to eat out around 20–50sgn/one person . It not bad, but if everyday like that is not good right ?
That why, I always plan around 1 month will eat out, nice food around 2,3 time. Then will cooking at home ( i also love to be cooker ) .
Buy stock to cook is Sing is not really cheap but is good quality.
One month i spent around 300–4500sgn for stock to cook for 2 person . It’s not bad right.
