Why visit Connecticut?

Because of the small size, Connecticut doesn’t seem like a very attractive state to visit but in reality this tiny state has alot to offer. From the prime location to the big cities or proximity to the shore, Connecticut has something for everyone.

Most people like spending days shopping or going to shows or even just exploring big cities like New York or Boston but hate all the hassle and prices of big city living. Well Connecticut is the answer to that. Connecticut is conviently placed in between Boston and New York, with only a drive a couple hours you can find yourself in the rush of a big city. You can avoid the stress to you and your wallet by not needing to overpay for a hotel in room in the heart of a city. Connecticut makes visting cities way more enjoyable by taking away alot of stress from it.

Connecticut can offer also an easy beach trip. From anypoint in Connecticut you are at maximum two hours away from the beautiful shoreline of Rocky Neck beach on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. If you are into surfing and want some bigger waves, it’s only another 15 minute drive to the beaches of Rhode Island.

The historic district of the capital Hartford is also worth the trip. The tours of the beautiful colonial houses are a sight to take in. If you want to take in sporting events, you can go watch a Hartford Yard Goats baseball game or a Hartford Wolfpack hockey game.

Connecticut doesn’t have the reputation like the big cities but I promise if you visit for a week, you’ll be extremely satisfied and be telling your friends they need to visit.
