Introduction

Many of you are familiar with the early beginnings of Lithium. We created Lithium in its earliest form as a f**k you to existing launchpads who were supposed to democratise early-stage investing but were unfair because they either (1) operated under a first-come-first-serve mechanism or (2) required insane amounts of tokens to be ‘staked’ for tiny allocations, thus giving preferential treatment to individuals with large amounts of capital.

Not so long ago, we wrote an article on why launchpads are broken, diving exactly into these issues in much detail and offering an alternative: participation without holding the launchpad’s token. Not so long ago, this idea seemed like it would probably come into fruition at some point further in the future—but here we are, offering token-free investment. Let this on one hand be a testament to our team and the speed at which it develops and, on the other hand, a reminder of how quickly this space evolves and that unthinkable or improbable things may happen much sooner than expected.

With that in mind, we are happy to announce that from now on EVERYONE can participate in Lithium raises, regardless of whether you hold our token or not.

Our loyalty scheme, LithiumPLUS lets you enjoy numerous benefits, rewards, and discounts. Here’s why you should join our PLUS club:

No Transaction Fee to Participate in Raises

Non-token holders will be charged anywhere between 10–20% percent of their total investments on each raise. As a LithiumPLUS member, you’re charged zero. Over a few raises, this can quickly add up to ‘000s of dollars saved.

Larger Allocation

Non-token holders will be able to invest up to $500 per raise. We may change this number at our discretion, based on the amount of demand seen for each project—however always ensuring that LithiumPLUS members do NOT get diluted. Depending on your LithiumPLUS plan, your allocation may range up to $7,500 for any given project.

Project Rewards

In the web3 community, often referred to as airdrops. LithiumPLUS Strategist tiers and above receive rewards in form of project tokens after the raise of the respective projects—this means you can earn tokens of a certain project even when you didn’t participate in that particular raise. Typically, we are gifted an additional 2–5% of the entire amount raised for a project to distribute to our community.

Supercharge and Tricklecharge rewards

Since our $IONs token has built in smart token mechanics to encourage holding and discourage selling, it also carries variable transaction taxes on buying and selling. The proceeds of these taxes are then distributed to our LithiumPLUS members.

Additional Rewards

These rewards are taken from transaction fees that non-token holders pay to participate in raises—again, distributed to members of LithiumPLUS. In addition, a portion of these same transaction fees are used to buy back and burn our $IONs token, reducing in price appreciation (however also is a benefit to $IONs holders that are not part of LithiumPLUS).
