Mission Control
Tapping into a new value stream to further engage investors
Mission Control is a new product to further add value to founding teams and investors.
Mission control is an engaging platform that allows potential investors to complete missions, which will add value to early-stage projects. It seeks to solve the problem of heavily botted task platforms such as gleam, by rewarding investors who actually help projects and provide valuable feedback and exposure.
As an investor, if you want to get more involved in projects and benefit from doing so, Mission Control is for you!
Eligibility for Missions
Currently, you have to be selected for Missions for projects. This selection is usually done through a combination of
- Wallet addresses that have shown some early engagement in a project we are launching
- LithiumPlus holders
We are working on a mechanism that will allow wallets to apply to complete Mission Control for certain projects.
In order to complete missions in Mission Control you must complete the information in Your Account. You’ll need to put in your Telegram, Twitter and Discord handle. This is required, to allow us to validate tasks.
Types of Missions
Missions can be anything, from joining project groups to leaving feedback on initial designs. Missions are marked through a combination of machine learning and manual review. There are two types of Missions
Binary Missions
These missions are either completed or not. A mission will be a success if it is completed, this might refer to Missions such as joining a Telegram group.
Graded Missions
These missions are graded on a scale of 1–10 for how well they are performed. Graded missions might include leaving feedback on a whitepaper. The idea of graded missions is to separate the ubiquitous ‘good project’ ‘to the moon’ feedback from genuinely insightful engagement. Graded missions will be given a score of 1–10 and this, in turn, will affect the rewards you receive.
Rewards for Missions
Rewards for missions can be given in three ways
Discounted allocation
Some missions will give you a discounted allocation on a project's raise. This can save you a lot of cash on the TGE/IDO price.
Native token rewards
These are rewards paid in the project's native token.
USDC rewards
Stablecoin rewards are sometimes used as an incentive for completing missions.
Completing Missions
In order to complete a mission simple click the complete button. You’ll then see a screen that explains to you how to complete the mission.
Your mission — if you chose to accept it.
Then it’s a case of simply uploading the image of your task and waiting for the mission to be approved.
Missions may take up to 24 hours to be approved, so please be patient.
Claiming Rewards
Missions that use either the native token or USDC rewards will be distributed via your dashboard under Project rewards. These rewards will usually be distributed either at the project TGE (if it’s pre-TGE) or on a weekly / monthly cadence.
Discounted Allocation
Discounted allocations will simply be added to your discounted allocation amount for the project. For example, if you are a LithiumPlus holder and already get $100 discounted allocation, if you complete a task that rewards $50 discounted allocation, you’ll now have $150.
