Mass adoption. This is THE moment we are preparing for at Lithium. We fundamentally believe that the power of tokenisation is an unstoppable force. We want to be able to capitalise on the next phase of the adoption cycle, and we can’t do that without a checkout experience that puts user experience front and centre.

In this article, we’ll go over every element of our reimagined checkout experience. Buckle up.

Dedicated Checkout Page

Our new dedicated checkout page

We now have a page that is dedicated to summarising your checkout experience. You will come from the usual investment modal, but you’ll now clearly see what you’re investing and what you’ll get. This page also allows us to make some iterative improvements, such as introducing new payment methods.

Service Fees

We recently introduced the concept of Service Fees. This allows new users to invest in Lithium projects in a frictionless way while providing holders of the $IONs token with tonnes of rewards.

We’ve incorporated these fees into our checkout experience; it will be crystal clear to all users what their fees are and why they are paying them.

Important note: Holders of staked tiers DO NOT pay service fees.

KYC

Our KYC process is clear on the checkout page. You’ll see the status of your KYC check, and any actions you have to take.

Payment Methods

We now have two payment methods on the site: Transak and your crypto wallet. Transak allows users to top up their crypto wallet with fiat currencies. This will make investing on our platform much simpler for investors who don’t want to have to go through the pain of purchasing USDC on a CEX—they can now do it directly from the checkout screen.

Wallet Items

Part of Lithium’s expansion plan is to use other communities to drive investors to Lithium while giving these communities great rates on raises. An example of this is our recent partnership with Culture Cubs. At checkout, investors will be able to clearly see what they are saving and why.

We’ll soon release a video to go through all these new changes, but we hope from this article you can get an idea of why this new checkout experience is going to add so much value to the Lithium platform.
