This week, we focused on providing a superior experience for our clients (startup founders who utilise Lithium). The main metric we are trying to push is: activation on the platform.

Bespoke Landing Pages

The Problem
Projects using Lithium weren’t seeing it as ‘their platform’. Even though all projects that use Lithium own their audience, use the platform to gamify the onboarding experience, and then monetise their communities, some clients felt that directing traffic to Lithium meant diluting their own community.

Lithium is a tool that allows projects to better manage and augment their community—we need our clients to understand this. We’ll be bringing in a suite of dashboarding tools and more, but for now, an easy win was to create a bespoke Landing Page for projects, removing Lithium branding to make it feel like their ‘home’

The new landing page, with no Lithium branding

Users will still be able to discover other projects of interest through our on-chain matchmaking algorithm.

Navigation Update

When we launched missions, we had no idea to what extent it would take off. The first version was just to prove a hypothesis. By assigning users missions can we increase meaningful engagement and make projects more cash? This hypothesis has turned out to be true and Missions are now a core part of the product. Rather than having a ‘Mission Control’ tab, there is now just a ‘Your Projects’ section. In here you will be able to switch between your projects and navigate between Missions, the Pool and Vesting.

Swapping between projects and adding new projects

At the moment hitting vesting will take you to your dashboard, with the allocation tab open, and rewards will still need to be claimed here as well. We will iterate on this to allow you to just see the vesting for a single projects or reward in the project page. Again, part of our master plan to give projects a space that feels like home.

UI Update

The whole page was starting to get a bit busy, so we’ve made a couple of changes to improve the user experience. This is much needed as we start to add in the concept of ‘instant’ tasks as well as tasks with a limited reward pool (coming soon)

  • Removed icons associated with tasks
  • Removed pop up boxes to do things like input emails or connect Twitter accounts, all this is done through the Mission card itself
  • Clearly shown the % of missions that have been completed
  • Rewards to claim are visible in one place
Before and after. A much cleaner missions page for projects.

Automated Joining Telegram

We’ve now automated the joining of Telegram for Mission Control tasks. Part of our plan to give a much cleaner experience for this kind of stuff.

What’s Next 👀

Next week we have a few new bits to work on

  • Instant rewards. We want to give out rewards as soon as tasks are marked. It’s not an ideal experience for users to have to wait to be distributed rewards through our project rewards mechanism
  • Timed and Instant tasks. Users hate waiting for tasks to be marked. We’ll gamify the process by setting a countdown
