To try and figure out a future, the batch of exhibition design 2013 put their heads together(we tried) and figured out the best way to visualise the world in 2034 would be to put together a zine which would be representation of the world at that time. Working along the lines of adbusters, we compiled a 70-odd page zine which covered art, culture, politics, dance, music of the future. Titled Disquiet 2034, it helped us think of the future faster as we had more minds trying to work it out. As un-real I find some of the articles in the zine to be, I’m in no position to comment or criticise them as there genuinely could be a scenario where those situations could arise. If I don’t find a situation where Justin Trudeau is the world president and Tesla is the monopoly controlling the industry and Elon Musk has been shot dead(on his way to Mars, tragically) and his company taken over in a hostile coup far fetched enough to consider it to be a likely scenario then what can I possibly imagine to be impossible.

Take a look.
