How to Install Futurepia Node on Windows

If you want to run a node, the first step is installing it. You can click HERE to download the software.

There are 2 downloadable files available. The first one, if you want to install using MS DOS, and the other one installing using GUI version.

Let us go through the installation of GUI version since that’s what most of the people will be using. Download the file on your computer. Unzip it → Right Click on setup.exe → and click “Run as an administrator”.

The installation setup will start. Click Next.

Choose your installation folder. It is recommended to keep the location as default.

After selecting your destination folder, ‘NEXT’ and the installation will start. Once the installation is complete you will see the following screen.

Close the popup and you’ll find out Futurepia software is installed on your desktop.

Once you double click the Testnet icon, you will see Testnet software running in the taskbar.

Right-click the Futurepia icon, and click Setting.

In the seed-node, enter the following setting:
testnet.futurepia.io:14001

Click save. And then right click on the icon, go to Setting and click Start.

At first, you will be asked to create a shared memory. Once the memory is finished creating, test-net will start in the background.

To see the log files, right click the Futurepia icon once again, go to ‘Show Log’. Logs showing the block generation will pop up.
