Maybe you’ve heard other mainnets use the term “protocol”, or maybe you’ve even heard of “The PASTA Protocol”? But what exactly is a protocol and how are they different?

Protocols are simply agreements that are used on different blockchain mainnets. They are used to create standards within a mainnet’s ecosystem. PASTA, the PIA Alliance Standard Token Agreement, enacts a standardized agreement for all the DApps on Futurepia’s mainnet for the purpose of giving users and developers a more convenient experience. It allows users to enjoy different DApps, and seamlessly navigate from one to the other.

PASTA improves the user experiences by allowing one to access multiple DApps while only using 1 ID and 1 password. Additionally, it creates 1 smart wallet that empowers users to trade and exchange tokens from the various DApps on Futurepia. Finally, it provides over 100+ APIs to attract and help developers quickly and efficiently create new applications.

These additional features make Futurepia a more convenient and inviting place for both users and developers to discover the benefits of Blockchain.

Key Features & Benefits

Here is a short and simple explanation of the key benefits that PASTA provides:

1) SSO (Single Sign On)

Single Sign On conveniently allows users to access any DApp on Futuerpia using only 1 ID and 1 Password.

The Problem: Without a protocol or some type of standardization, users have to manage credentials for each DApp they wish to use. Within a blockchain, these credentials involve unique wallet addresses and complex master keys; making the management of these credentials quite cumbersome. Furthermore, given the decentralized nature of a blockchain, these credentials cannot be recovered through a “forgot my username/password” process; indeed, adding to the difficulty of enjoying DApps.

The Solution: Single Sign On (SSO) enables users to create a single ID that can be used across the DApp network! Users can quickly transition from managing dozens of usernames and passwords to simply managing one. Additionally, this feature creates a more simple registration process allowing the user to more quickly adopt new DApps. This creates an ecosystem in which users can access the “universe” of different DApps on Futurepia with incredible ease.

2) STO (Single Transfer On)

STO (Single Transfer On) gives users 1 wallet to access, organize, and manage tokens from multiple DApps! Any of the tokens received from a Futuerpia DApp can be stored, traded, and exchanged using the 1 wallet. Again, this allows users to seamlessly navigate through the services of several DApps and their tokens.

3) 100+ API Provided

Developers, we haven’t forgotten about you! Typically, when developers choose to build a new application on a blockchain they are left with very little resources; slowing the process and deterring developers. To avoid this fatal problem, PASTA provides more than 100+ APIs; giving developers the tools they need to quickly and effectively build out powerful DApps! These APIs include useful modules like live streaming, smart wallets, communication networks, P2P cloud services and many more.
