Sigmachain Signs MoU With Mexico’s GoodsTV

IT solutions and blockchain technology developed by Korean start-ups are being exported to the Latin American market, which is rapidly emerging as a “land of opportunity.”

Sigmachain, a blockchain technology company, recently announced that it has signed a strategic business agreement to supply IT solutions and blockchain business to Mexico’s GoodsTV (CEO Lee Woong), which operates the largest Hallyu platform in Latin America.

While Sigma Chain is developing and supplying streaming solutions and messenger services specialized to South America’s markets, it is also developing a distributed social media Mainnet based on blockchain technology which will support DApps specialized on social media. This mainnet, also called as Futurepia, also provide various APIs to developers so that developing process can become faster.

Sigmachain, founded by Cyworld developer JinYoung Kwak, is an IT technology start-up that develops various IT solutions and blockchain main net. It is also developing Korean 3rd Generation Block Chain Platform, being developed in-house, DDPoS (Dual Delegated Proof of Stake), which improves the speed and solves the security issues of the existing blockchain. Sigmachain is in the process of supplying platforms to many domestic and foreign companies.

On the other hand, Good’s TV was launched in April and is the largest Hallyu content platform in Central and South America. It provides various Korean-language contents including Korean entertainment news, web drama, webtoon, entertainment, beauty, lifestyle. Overall, it is contributing in the spread of Korean Wave throughout Latin America.

Through this agreement with Sigma Chain, Good’s TV plans to expand its business domain with real-time video streaming service and instant messenger service, and to launch an entertainment portal business for Latin America.
