Sigmachain’s CEO, Kwak Jin-young, announced on the 14th of this month that the company signed a business partner contract with a Vietnamese marketing company, Shimex Media (CEO Ha Tien Loi), to promote local blockchain business in Vietnam.

Under this agreement, Shimex Media will oversee the general status of marketing, networking, listings on crypto exchanges, and the promotion of Sigmachain’s own Futurepia project within Vietnam.

SNAC, Futurepia’s very first DApp, will be launched in Vietnam with a localized version next month under the leadership of Shimex Media. After the launch of SNAC, killer DApps, which will be based on SNAC’s payment ecosystem, will gradually be launched. These DApps can be in various fields such as photography, video, movie, webtoon, sound source and games.

Futurepia will also be deploying a blockchain-based, on-demand, patient management solution promoted by AURA BEAUTY CLINIC in Vietnam.

Additionally, to address the rising interest of blockchain in Vietnam, not only will Futurepia provide a DApp development platform to technically support local blockchain startups, but Futurepia will also support Futurepia-based integrated management systems to the Vietnamese government, public institutions, financial companies, and logistics companies.

Particularly, local DApps completed through the DApp development platform will be evaluated and put on to Futurepia’s mainnet, which is expected to help the global expansion of a Futurepia ecosystem.

Futurepia will enter Southeast Asia, starting with Vietnam, which has a very high public interest in blockchain, active government support, and massive market potential. Vietnam is a relatively young country with an average age of 30 and Vietnam is expected to maintain a high annual growth rate of 6.5% continuing into 2022.

Moreover, the size of the digital payment market will increase from $ 8.5 billion in 2019 to $13 billion in 2023, with the annual payment per user rising from $163 to $232.

Futurepia, which has entered the Vietnamese blockchain market in earnest, is said to have all three factors that a blockchain platform should have; speed, stability and scalability. ‘Sigmachain mainnet’, the core of the platform, began to attract the industry’s attention last year with an official internationally recognized certification of 300,000 transactions per second.

The platform also provides more than 100 application programming interfaces (APIs) to assist in the development and operation of DApps. To aid in the creation of an inclusive ecosystem, the mainnet has its own cryptocurrency exchange to trade DApp tokens and ‘PIA’, the mainnet’s primary coin. Furthermore, the ecosystem has built a ‘co-existent coin economy’ that directly invests in prospective DApps to facilitate initial market entry and continuous growth.

Kwak Jin-young, Sigmachain’s CEO, stated that “The survivors of the current competition among blockchain platforms will eventually be determined by the number of users using the platform. Through more cooperation and partnerships, we will spread Futurepia across the world.”
