We Will Rock You (often abbreviated as WWRY) is a jukebox musical based on the songs of British rock band Queen with a book by Ben Elton. The musical tells the story of a group of Bohemians who struggle to restore the free exchange of thought, fashion, and live music in a distant future where everyone dresses, thinks and acts the same.
“We Will Rock You” has already performed in various parts of the world and finally they have hit the stage in South Korea too. Since the Queen has a huge fan following here, Koreans got really excited to see the musical and once the tickets sale was announced, the musical was almost sold out for the first few weeks.

More About The Musical
The play will highlight music by the British rock band — Queen, specifically 24 of their hit songs, through a storyline that revolves around a group of Bohemians who try to lead a revolution in a distant future where everyone dresses, thinks and acts the same. Adding to their struggle is how rock music is barely acknowledged, and musical instruments and composers are forbidden.
Location
The musical “We Will Rock You” has started from December 7 and continue up to February 20 this year. Moreover, the musical is taking place at the Royal Theatre, a performance hall dedicated to the show in Seoul’s Jamsil Sports Complex Culture Plaza.
