Ka-Ching!
Remember the good ol’ days of your college life?
Chances are that you, like most others, spent your days being broke as hell.
For students, money is much more than its intrinsic value.
It equates to freedom; Giving them the chance to spend on whatever they like, away from the prying eyes and control of their parents.
It is aspirational, giving them the chance to buy something they dream of.
For young students, there are a few ‘firsts’ that make their life really special. Making their own money the first time is one such landmark moment in their life!
We launched Micro-jobs called Missions on Frapp, that enable students to complete bite sized tasks for their favourite brands in exchange for money!
Over the last 6 months, students have earned over INR 50 Lakhs in cash and rewards via Missions from brands such as Samsung, Starbucks, BookMyShow and Sony Music.
With Missions, earning money is no more reserved for the handful of students who have managed creative side hustles like sorting club entries or selling projects and notes. Everyone is eligible to apply for Missions on Frapp!
Here’s the fun part: brands are giving students some really unique tasks to perform! Let’s take a look at some of the quirkiest tasks done by students till date.
- Football Tricks!
Students showed off their football tricks on their social media and got rewarded for their skills!
- Fun with Cheese!
Students grated and moulded cheese in unique and fun shapes and were rewarded for their creativity.
- The Wonderboom!
Students received speakers for free and created various content pieces in and around campus, including singing and dancing with friends.
- The Cure.fit fitness Challenge
Students created fun content around their fitness habits and got to earn cash and rewards!
- Mother’s Day Love!
Students earned by posing selfies with their Mums for GoAir’s Mother’s Day campaign!
- #SayNoToPlastic
Our favourite Mission till date, we worked with an NGO to encourage students from around the country to clean up plastic and join the movement on twitter.
- Dance like there’s no tomorrow!
Students love dancing and apparently brands love making people dance!
We’ve hosted multiple Missions on Frapp where students were rewarded for their fancy dance moves.
Missions are fun, rewarding and addictive — keeping students constantly coming back for more.
As we continue our journey, Missions will become the centre piece of our product.
We’ve launched some exciting new updates, including a Frapp Missions Wallet where students can collect their earnings and transfer it to themselves.
There’s so much potential to create amazing campaigns with India’s Generation Z (Over 33 Million college students!)
We can’t wait to see the awesome work students do in the coming months.
