Kim Myung-hwa, chairman of the Western Painting Council, will join the Blockchain-based financial solution FUUPAY as an advisor.
FUUPAY is a financial platform that manages digital assets by utilizing blockchain technology, and is discussing collaboration with Kiosk to auction artworks in large distribution networks to make digital assets more practical.
Through artist Kim Myung-hwa’s joining as an advisor, FUUPAY will provide solutions to the online sales and distribution of numerous artists and their works of art who have difficulty in valuing and selling them.
FUUPAY said that through the network of artist Kim Myung-hwa, who has a strong influence in the art industry, FUUPAY will provide solutions to solve problems that have been inconvenient in paying for high-priced artworks, contributing to the global advancement of Korean artists and the trade of works.
FUUPAY, which recently announced that it will enter the Kiosk Payments market, including hotels and resorts, by signing a contract with The Nine Comapny, a global kiosk provider, has a vision to access differentiated unmanned automation systems beyond simple service levels in the payment fee market and develop them into a financial platform.
FUUPAY is preparing to enter the global market as well as the domestic art market and so drawing attention in the field of FinTech Payments.
Artist Kim Myung-hwa served as director of the Kyunghyang Art Association at Kyunghyang Newspaper and is currently serving as the head of the Korean Painting Association/Western Painting Council. She has been recognized for its artistry through more than 100 exhibitions, including the Hangaram Art Museum and other major galleries in Korea.
