‘Circular’, a London startup, is a new innovative platform that takes a new approach on connecting like-minded individuals. Led by creators, Circular will bring creatives together by sharing tips and supporting one another across a few fields; something that I reckon all creatives can relate too.

CEO Zai Allen, alongside Danny Aziz and Hendrix Nash, created a version in December, which has been proven to be a success for those that have joined the community thus far. Although the beta version is just a test, users have given positive feedback, with many gaining relevant experience in the workplace. Now, they have promised to create a circle bigger and better than yours!

An all-rounder, their community building beta boasts several circles for different creatives to network and discuss topics including music, photography and writing, and much more. The open discussion aspect encourages users to openly share, support, and speak about their creativity; but more importantly find the talent that they are seeking.

Since their beta, Circular already helped amazing creatives who are in the community. For example, Tunde Adegoroye, who developed a weather app, Clime, with the aim giving forecasts in a simple and intuitive way, was able to use Circular for viral marketing and advice on his development.

Another example being Arman Hussain Studios, an upcoming contemporary clothing brand. When founder Arman Hussain joined, his brand was in its early stages. Circular allowed him to seek help for design, branding and packaging.

In addition to the multi-channel service, Circular have a Medium publication for users to voice their opinions and teach through written content — similar to a blog — that, again, will promote users to discuss other topics and subject matters outside of their passion. Sharing ideas, opinions and knowledge without limits is what essential from a creative perspective, and Circular have provided the much-needed platform that can solicit these exchanges. After all, creativity is expression!

The Mission? Connecting creatives on a grand scale. Keep an eye out for more information coming during the second half of 2017.

Meanwhile, join the discussion via Medium below:
