Sometimes I see the future.
I started a twitter thread of my (you could say) accidental predictions, I think this shows if anything that I had a good understanding of trends and my ability to articulate these thoughts with the little information I have.
How this works is that I’ll see something new on the timeline and if I think “didn’t I tweet that months ago?”, I will search my twitter archive. Bare in mind I don’t tweet all my ideas so this is interesting.

You can learn a lot about features twitter should implement just by looking at how us users use it.

With the democratization of news already and the rise of live streaming; periscope, facebook live, musical.ly, HYPE. This is the next step, allowing more people to have essentially their own news platform.

I’m a big proponent on competition and the TFL needs some. Uber pool is a stepping stone, I wonder what’s next.

The same idea!
Airbnb should think about being more inclusive and It seems they are now with their Trips feature, making it possible to book tours and restaurant reservations.
Imagine going to the park with your (then) hoverboard, you put your hoverboard down and now it’s doubles as speakers. Just made too much sense.

Voice interfaces is the next UI. Look at Alexa, Google Home.. Talking is the easiest way to communicate.
Not where when I created this document but I know it was months ahead of the tweet on the right!
I like juxtaposition. I like how today’s royalty is totally subjective, well to me it is. To be painted like this is to be put in high regard. I think our culture deserves this and I thought it would look cool too, I’m happy it did.

I was using Whatsapp like Slack, so It didn’t make sense as to why I couldn’t send something simple like a PDF.

If Rihanna is performing in Dubai and I’m not there, the best alternative should be to watch it in a virtual immersive experience. Companies could charge for this access. Everybody wins.

We only use our cars 4% of the time, think about it. With autonomous technology being available and safer than humans, it should be able to make owners money by becoming an ‘uber’.

I wanted a night time feature because, using twitter with it’s white background was (somewhat) painful on the eye.
My concept design is very similar to theirs. I wrote a blog on the idea here;
“Snapcloud” was the concept I put together on Photoshop and on the left is the latest feature in Snapchat, incredibly be similar.
Quote from my blog:
Now snapchat have a feature where called ‘memories’, where you can save all the content you have uploaded to snapchat on to their server. So imagine in 20 years you can look back on all the ‘memories’ you have created.
Again, on the left, I put this idea together on photoshop and right, very similar execution of this idea.

Well I was close!
I would love it if twitter made a separate app for messaging. It should work similar to Messenger (but still allows users within the twitter app).

I wonder if this has anything to do with my star sign (Aquarius) or maybe the countless hours I spend on the internet. This must mean something, I just don’t know what exactly yet.
I believe that if I had more information, than just what I’m seeing from the internet I would be able to come with more vast ideas of what is next. It’s just getting access to that information, being in and around those people with this information.
My biggest fear is not being in a position to utilise this ‘skill’, it’s what trying to figure out now. How can I use my thinking and apply it to society, varying industries or to even to improve upon it.
If you any thoughts, ideas, opportunities? Let me know.
