Hello FX1 fam, what’s up?

In this week's edition, we dive into some updates on our upcoming homepage, the work in progress on our MMA event rooms, and the introduction of the FX1 Edge, as well as a few other things.

New Homepage

With our pivot into sports betting, we knew we had to bring our products up to date. The first move was to get our homepage updated which we’re very close to releasing, but for now, here is a sneak peek:

MMA Event Rooms & FX1 Edge

More exciting than a new homepage is the work we have been doing around our MMA event rooms which is where the focus will be initially for us as we further develop our AI features.

Here is a look at the event room for an example UFC fight card:

When you go into a fight you’ll see basic analytics as well as the predictor winner per round and for the fight, which is purely based on analytics.

What will eventually be a paid feature, the FX1 Edge will present more detailed analytics such as a strike map to show where the strikes have landed, while also bringing in charts to show strikes thrown and landed.

It doesn’t stop there though, the extra special stuff is what we do over time.

We’ll be tracking strikes and showing them on time-based charts so you will be able to see not just totals, but totals over time.

That’s not all, we’re also going to be tracking the speed and force of strikes, something that has never been done before, not for live fights in real-time that’s for sure.

The planning and design work is impressive, we know that. What’s important moving forward is that we continue our AI work to make these a reality, which will take time but it’s where the focus is.
