Welcome to yet another FX1 weekly diary, where we aim to keep you updated on what’s happening here at FX1.

Let’s get right into it, shall we?

UFC Beta Tests

For those already familiar with the project and who have been following our journey, you would be aware of the significant endeavor to launch our inaugural AI prototype.

We’re a sports tech company, red-lazer zoomed in on combat sports, and we have picked the UFC as the league we want to start with.

Our state-of-the-art AI will perform live event detection, meaning we’ll track punches and kicks in real-time. More than just numbers, we’ll also monitor and display speed and force of strikes, something not yet seen in the modern world we live in.

We have been aiming to get live for weeks now, and although we have not officially achieved that yet, last week we ran our first internal beta test.

It was exciting.

We could see the entire pipeline run and finally see the progress we have been making, which actually even surprised me a little.

Events were being detected on the live fight, not by a human or someone being paid to sit there and tap buttons on a keyboard.

Post this trial, and after some debate, we decided to run another internal trial this weekend for what is a not-so-exciting fight night, so hopefully, this won’t be too much of a disappointment.

We still have our eyes very much on UFC 300, although we will be doing our best to start our first live trial next weekend, which is another fight night.= before the much anticipated main card in April.

Continued Data Collection

Our computer vision models have the job of extracting data from the live fight, but it’s not all we’re relying on.

We have begun our journey to become the up-start with the most extensive data coverage for combat sports.

We have already collected statistics and fight histories for close to 1,000 active UFC fighters.

As Rihanna might say, we’re not stopping there; we want data sets on every fighter that has ever entered the firey gates of a UFC cage before we move into other combat sports.

This data and what we derive from it will soon start appearing in our app, making the experience even more satisfying for anyone wanting additional insights into what is happening inside the cage and what is likely to happen next.

Buy $FXI with Debit Cards

We have talked about getting our token on a centralized exchange for a long time.

We realize the benefits it would offer, but we also know right now is not the right time.

We’ve initiated the first phase: partnering with Flooz to facilitate purchasing $FXI with FIAT currency, including Visa, MasterCard, and potentially more options.

Soon, we’re swiftly moving towards integrating this feature directly onto our website, enabling seamless $FXI purchases without leaving our website.

We’re confident this will be live next week, so wait for the official announcement.

New Hires

Our most recent hire started just yesterday, bringing the total headcount at FX1 to 22 resilient and robust soldiers.

Our data science and AI team is now five people deep, and we know that the team we’re building is the one that will get us to where we want to go.

We’re looking for exceptional talent to join our ambitious mission. If you know skilled developers, data scientists, AI engineers, or other top-tier professionals seeking a new opportunity, please let us know.

Wrapping Up

That’s it for another week.
