Profiles, Packs and Institutional Registration in FySelf: How are they different?

The first social identity network allows optimal management of personal data, in order to help you build a digital identity. To do this, it presents a series of structures to group and organize the information: profiles, packs and the institutional registry.
Each of these three elements fulfills a specific function within FySelf. Accompanied by Surveys, they are the main forms of information presentation that will help you grow your reputation and, therefore, grow within the platform to benefit from the value of your personal data.
Profiles, the basis of our online identity
In other recent posts we have discussed in detail the importance of profiles, as a basic structure for organizing information in FySelf.
One of the most important things you should know is that, unlike other social networks, a user must have multiple profiles on our network, not just one. This is because the profiles group fields according to a specific theme. The profiles are available to the user by default by the FySelf administration.
How to fill out a profile?
In the main menu of FySelf, you will easily find the option to access the profiles. Once there, select one of them, taking into account the topics on which you think you can provide personal information. For example: Academic Profile.
Once the Profile Edit Mode is open, a series of fields that you can complete will appear. These can have the following form.
- Text
- Yes / No
- Date
- Image
- Choose from several available options
Complete your profile with all or at least most of the requested fields. And go to the next one. Remember that the more information you provide, the faster you grow within FySelf and see its benefits.
Packs, more freedom to organize your data
Unlike the profiles, the design of the packs can be made by the user, according to their interest. How many times have you not had to pass personal information to a friend, colleague or family member who needs it? This will be easier than ever with the FySelf Packs.
Are you going to travel and should you provide information about yourself to your hosts? Share a pack that has fields from your Profile Personal Information, Interests or Visas.
Or let’s say you have to present a thesis project to a group of tutors, but they don’t know much about your academic training or professional interests. Create a pack and you are done!
How to make FySelf Packs?
The objective of the FySelf Packages is that the users themselves can take fields from various profiles and order them according to their convenience.
The “Packs” option is easily accessible from the main menu of FySelf. Once there, you have the possibility to see other packs that you have created or some that are shared with you.
If the pack has diverse information, coming from several profiles, we recommend that you use sections to organize those fields.
Another very useful resource is the pack template. Let’s suppose that you are the host of a person who will stay in your house, but there are a series of information that you must collect in your guest book. You would only have to share a pack template, which will return completed to you if that person authorizes the filling of the data, with a single click.
What is an Institutional Registry for?
The institutional registry could be understood in a similar way as a Pack, but it has a fundamental difference: it is made by our clients, who pay for it.
Therefore, if you appeal to a consulate for a visa application, and that institution is a FySelf client, you can easily share your data in a virtual, fast and secure way without filling your hands with ink, making mistakes or dealing with websites not specialized in the collection of this type of information.
Before filling out any institutional registration, you must check a box where you specify if you accept the terms and conditions that have been stipulated for the use of your personal information.
