The road towards the digital is now very clear, especially in a world marked by the pandemic. Spain is clear about it. For this reason, the Government of Pedro Sánchez will allocate 140,000 million in public-private investment to digitize the country during the next five years.

Digitize the economy
The President of the Government last July declared the figure of 140,000 million, during the presentation of the Digital Spain Plan 2025. The purpose is to reactivate the economy after the impact of the coronavirus crisis.
According to what Sánchez disclosed, in 2025 half of the Spanish public services will be available through a mobile application. This will then allow you to request help or carry out any specific management.
In the agreement reached in July at the European Council on the distribution of funds to counteract the impact of the health crisis, they decided that basically 15 of the 20 billion of public investment in the next three years will come from the European Union.
In 90 pages, the Digital Spain 2025 Plan also brings together a set of measures, reforms and investments, structured in ten strategic axes. These in short must be in tune with the digital policies of the European Commission for the new period.

Spain Digital 2025 proposes a transversal objective strongly aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda: contribute significantly to closing the different digital gaps that have widened in recent years for socioeconomic, gender, generational, territorial, or environmental reasons.
