Office Hours

I will be holding virtual office hours throughout the remainder of the Fall 2020 semester on Mondays and Thursdays from 11:20 a.m.— 12:35 p.m. (ET). Please visit my Calendly to schedule an appointment if you’d like to speak about course assignments, developing writing mechanics, or just discuss general questions or concerns as we navigate our response to the COVID-19 pandemic together. The appointments default to 15 or 20 minutes but feel free to make one, even if you just want to chat for a few minutes. If you are calling in from an alternative timezone and these time bands don’t work for you, please send me a message so that we can find a mutually agreeable time.

My virtual office hours will take place via the course Zoom room. You can get to my dedicated Office Hours “room” in your weekly reserves page on Blackboard.

These time bands are blocked in my schedule for only your class. We are working synchronously and asynchronously, and I understand that this schedule comes with a higher need for clarity and a decreased sense of community. Please feel free to use my office hours! Check-in if you want to talk about the class, or even if you aren’t precisely sure what you want to talk about.

Optional Drop-in Synchronous Lessons

You should continue to check the syllabus for synchronous Thursday lessons, which are generally modeled as workshops. These are more wide-ranging conversations that will give you a chance to pose questions and work with me, and also discuss your writing process with your peers.

In the meantime, if you want to make a virtual appointment, click over to my Calendly.
