Dear Readers,

According to psychodrama psychology, we all play roles in our lives.

Psychodrama is a psychotherapeutic action method through which we can express ourselves. We are assigned the task of performing role-playing, self-presentation, and dramatization to learn who we are.

The plays (like in the art of theater) include real-life situations and inner processing through acting.

We all play roles — the father role, the son role, the teacher role, the hairstylist role, the friend role, the lawyer role, the doctor role, the writer role, the teacher role, etc.

We all play multiple roles simultaneously. It is like living in different realities that can interact and influence each other in the same period and place.

The roles that we assign ourselves to, similar to the actors’ roles in the movies, express a particular behavior and have goals.

When there is a discrepancy between the role and the inner desires, or among the goals, this leads to the diminishing of our happiness.
