A Wonderful “Unbralla”

One of the most interesting incidents at ITI happened last term in Nazeem’s period. It was a hot summer’s day in the middle of September, and everybody in class was feeling stressed out and nervous about their final Cultural Awareness presentations. Leo and Alex’s group was the first one to present. Instead of being confident like Alex, Leo was a bag of nerves. He was responsible for introducing the reasons why women should wear a bra. He wanted to say that every woman needs to wear a bra to protect support and elevate their breasts. However, due to nerves, he said “every woman should wear an umbrella…”. The sheer ridiculousness of the statement made us lose our minds. Even Nazeem laughed until he fell off of his chair, and laughter filled the class for entire ten minutes. After this silly but hilarious mistake, everyone felt more relaxed and was able to calmly continue with their presentations. Ever since then, we always think of this incident when we look at an umbrella.
