The Story of Data Storage Devices

The development of data storage devices has been rapid and deeply influenced our life. In the past, we used floppy disks to store files, which only had a limited storage capacity. Later, in the 1990s, the USB was launched, and proved to be the answer to the limited storage problem faced in floppy disks. In addition, USBs were more portable than floppy disks. Recently, the soft drive was developed, and one of the most popular options being Google Drive that is commonly utilized by most of our generation. Moreover, after this kind of soft drive was invented, people were able to upload documents on a Cloud without the use of any external devices. In conclusion, the development of data storage devices I believe will continue to astound us in the future.
