Coffeepool is essentially a carpool for coffee. I sought out to come up with an app that would make the coffee-buying ritual a little less stressful for the commuting professional. Basically, coffeepool allows users to create/join groups, or “pools”, with coworkers, friends, etc. After choosing the frequency — how many times per week the group wants to participate in the coffeepool — the app assigns a different day to each member of the pool. Each user has the ability to customize reminders or alerts when it’s their turn to provide coffee for the group. Once the user purchases the coffee, they enter the total amount into the app along with an optional description. Coffeepool integrates with venmo, allowing each user to easily keep track of their purchases.

Check out the first iteration below. After the initial prototype, I noticed a few aspects of the interaction and flow that still need to be defined, like whether or not the “Feed” button even needs to exist on the toolbar when already on the homepage.
