The Beer Traveler: Deliverables

The Beer Traveler is a hybrid phone app that taps into a database of beers to provide a user with a beer list relative to their location, a particular brewery or a beer’s name. Left is high resolution mock-up of the app’s home screen which is meant to allude to turn of the century travel imagery: your beer-cation begins. At present this is a still image, but with additional development time it is meant to animate, with the bubbles rising and the beer foam ‘clouds’ slowly drifting from left to right.

The second image on the left is a high resolution mock-up of the beer listing screen. The x-ed boxes are the beer labels drafted from the database along your search critieria: The center has the beer name, brewery and brew type while on the far right is a clear listing of ABV [alcohol by volume] and IBU [international bitter units]. The team that composed this app has a very low bitter unit as all involved had a great deal of fun producing it, and are interested in taking this General Assembly course project to another level.
