Gaest.com heads to Belgium
In just a few months, the Danish-founded startup has already recruited more than 60 spaces in Brussels and Antwerp to join the fight to make it easier, faster and better to book spaces for meetings, workshops and seminars.
Gaest.com, the Airbnb style marketplace for finding and booking unique and quirky spaces for meetings, workshops and the like, is gearing up for their official launch in Belgium next month. And with the first 60 spaces from Brussels and Antwerp already listed, the anticipation is high.
“Any time you’re able to gain traction in the market this quickly, you can’t help feeling that you’re on to something really special,” says Corey Morris, CMO for Gaest.com.
From playrooms to boardrooms
Belgium-based users will be met with a myriad of spaces that run the gamut from quirky, historic spaces in downtown Antwerp to 6-star boardrooms in the center of Brussels.
“We’re keen on offering as much variety as possible, especially when entering a new market,” says COO Thomas Frederiksen. “From here, we can hone in on what types of spaces perform best and what needs to be changed,” he adds.
Take the pain out of finding and booking spaces
Gaest.com is designed to make it easier and faster for time-strapped business professionals to find a wide range of spaces for every need — a one-stop-shop for spaces.
“Our customers range from freelancers who are tired of meeting in noisy cafes to global corporations who are looking to pump new life into their meetings by hosting them in an exciting space offsite”, says Corey.
The challenge, he adds, is that it’s not only hard to find these types of spaces, but it’s nearly impossible to book and pay for them online. That’s something Gaest.com hopes to change in Belgium (as well as a number of other markets that the company is launching this year).
