Good pictures of is the easiest and most effective way to make your meeting space stand out and make a good impression.
Follow these simple steps to improve your pictures and make it easier for your Gaests to choose your meeting space.
Make your room ready for the photoshoot
- Clean up the room and make it look nice and inviting.
- Keep the background simple and not too messy.
Light on outdoor pictures
- Choose a sunny day with clear skies.
- Make sure always to have the sun behind you and avoid getting your shadow in the picture.
Present your room at its best
- Find the best angle for the room. It’s often from a corner as it gives the best room distribution.
- Take the pictures from about 130 cm from above the floor.
- To make your room look as bright and big as possible, make sure to include windows or maybe a view into the next room in the picture.
- You can’t magically make your room bigger but try to make more space between the furniture or even remove some.
- If your camera has a wide angle function you should definitely try it out.
- Add green plants to make the room look cosier.
Should there be people in the picture or not?
- It depends on the size of the room. People at the picture brings life but keep it simple and only add people to the picture if it looks natural.
Light at indoor pictures
- Daylight always gives the best results.
- Slightly cloudy weather is ideal. Bright sunlight gives shadows and backlight.
- Take the pictures in the middle of the day where the light is ideal.
- Pull curtains and blinds aside and let the daylight in.
- Basically, turn off all artificial light.
Format and size
- Take the pictures horizontally. This is the best-shown format at the internet or smartphone.
- Be sure to hold the camera horizontal so the pictures don’t lean to one side or the other.
