If we haven’t told you yet, thank you for following us on Medium! And if we have told you, thanks again.

Here’s your monthly recap.

Picking Up Steam

We’re moving closer every day to Georgia’s digital platform. This April, we started announcing the vendor partners we’ll work with on upcoming projects. We’ll continuously add to that page as we sign more contracts.

Meanwhile, 6 team members represented us at this year’s DrupalCon. They they met with industry leaders and our counterparts in other states, while learning about what’s coming next in the Drupal community. But more on that later.

For now, here’s what we’ve published recently.

In Case You Missed It

Check out what we’ve talked about in the past month.

How to Structure Content for 5 User Types
Here’s what we know about the people who visit Georgia sites and how we can improve their experience. (Yes, technically we published this in March. But who’s counting?)

Georgia’s digital platform: Building with the people to serve where they are
As we consider all things digital, we’re taking into account 3 key components: compliance, consistency, and collaboration.

Putting our money where our mouth is: Procuring government digital services
We’re forming several pools of vendor partners to help us and state agencies with upcoming projects. Learn how we pick who to work with.

The Future of Georgia’s Digital Information: Our problem-first approach to serving the people who serve The People
We work for two groups: state agencies and the general public. Learn about the challenges each face and how the new digital platform will address both.

This month’s contributers: Nikhil Deshpande, Kendra Skeene, Rachel Hart

What Do You Think?

We’re excited for this to be a 2-way conversation.

Do you address lots of users on one site? Have you helped select collaborators? Did we make you think, “Hmm, yeah, not sure about that…”?

Let us know in the comments!
