What???

Do you believe that staying fit and healthy is only important when you’re young?

Have you resigned yourself to becoming weaker as you age?

That’s a misconception.

It’s crucial to maintain good health and fitness throughout your life.

Many well-known figures in their sixties still look youthful and vibrant, as if age has no bearing on their appearance or well-being.

For example, Paul Raud, a famous American actor, was born on April 6, 1969, but no one can tell that he is fifty-four.

Early sleeping and early rising is the key step for a healthy life.
In today’s world it has become a trend to sleep late and wake up late. Sometimes, we justify our laziness saying, "we work at night".
In my opinion early mornings are more productive than late night’s. What do you think?🤔

Moreover early mornings get closes you to the nature that’s itself is rehabilitation or must say it’s a meditation type.

According to a study

“People who get up early, tend to go to bed early, and enjoy longer, better quality sleep.”

2. Healthy diet:

Healthy diet is as much important as you breathe.
We have to keep an eye on what we’re feeding to our body.
Imagine! A machine that needs a specific data to work and if we feed them fruits and vegetables. Will it work?
No.
Fruits and vegetables are not in demand of a machine. We’ve to feed them what they need for proper functioning.
Similarly our body needs a nutritious diet to work properly.

If you’re feeding it junk food, body wouldn’t work, or may be slows down.
So before your body shut down, start having nutritious food.

3. Set Bedtime Routines:

Bedtime routines should never be neglected.
An effective Bedtime routine may include, eating at least 3hours before sleep, reading a book or listening podcasts and maintaining sleep hygiene.
Dr George Kitsaras says:

Bedtime routines are important family activities and have important implications on children’s wellbeing, development and health.

4. Staying Hydrated:

Drinking enough water according to body’s needs is necessary.
The water plays a role in detoxifying all the toxins from the body.
Drinking at least 3 liters of water in a day is more than enough.

But it also depends on the needs of every individual like a pregnant woman should drink more water than any other individual.
In all reactions that are carrying out in our body, water act as a medium.
So if there isn’t enough water, the body will not be able to perform their functions effectively.

5. Regular Exercise and Stress Management:

Keep moving is necessary to keep your body in working.

Have you ever noticed how a sewing machine works well as long as it’s being used, but if left unused it starts to rust?

Similarly, our bodies also require movement and activity to stay healthy and active.

Simply eating without exercise or movement can cause the body to slow down and deteriorate over time.

Start doing regular exercise. Walking, aerobics, gyming, playing football and bedminton are some form of exercise. You can opt on your own choice.

For stress relief, you can go for meditation and yoga.

According to a study adopting a mindfulness practice for as little as once per week for six weeks may reduce stress and anxiety.

Conclusion:

In sum, waking up early in the morning, eating healthy diet, drinking water, regular exercise and doing some yoga can help you maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
