Went out on a rainy Sunday.

Last Saturday was my birthday! It was the beginning of July and during the month heavy rainfall is expected in the city or in a major part of the country (India). We decided to go out on the next day, i.e. on Sunday. Driving is a fun as the nature is much greener during the rainy season.

Nature appears to enjoy most during the season. Plants are always happily tossing their heads while taking bath in rain which is almost incessant.

Wiper blades remain active to remove water drops falling on the windshield of your car. Music makes you feel happy and brings back memories of your good old days!

Reached the hotel premises.

Intention was to have a lunch at a restaurant of a well-known hotel and to spend some quality time with family as well. It was my birthday celebration after all!

It was a well decorated building that wears a pleasant look everywhere. Inside was cozy. Their staff greeted us with proper manner and style.

Cool environment was prevailing around. Through glasses we could clearly see it was raining outside. They offered a Sunday special buffet brunch to us. Variety of foods were waiting for us. They were tasty but not spicy.

Arrangement was there for a live musical performance in the dining hall. Handsome singer sang many songs starting from “Happy birthday to you”, to various Indian filmy songs to make our day special. We were fully satisfied to spend a quality afternoon there!
