A nonet poem in response to a writing prompt.

The following poem was inspired by a writing prompt I received from a morning writing group, Sunrise Scribe, facilitated by my friend, fellow writer and poet, Fisiwe Zwana:
Write to this prompt: somewhere between healing and healed.
Somewhere
Somewhere between healing and healed the
truth emerged after swallowing
that harsh pill of honesty
upon holding myself
accountable for
my actions than
playing the
victim
role.
