Can you be physically active but still inactive? Imagine a situation where you contemplate whether to take a walk on a tranquil Friday evening. In moments like these, we often question the significance of physical activity when we’re already busy with life.

Research shows that insufficiently active individuals face a staggering 20% to 30% increased risk of death compared to those who embrace a sufficiently active lifestyle.

As I sat there, immersed in my new temporary home, surrounded by unfamiliar sights and sounds, this realization struck me like lightning.

Yes!

I was physically present, but was I truly active in a way that nurtured my well-being? Was I engaging with my surroundings, experiencing the new environment, culture, and people around me?

Actively inactive: my last post on Medium was 9 months ago!

The answer is not in the fact that I was busy moving and was not active on Medium as my usual self would be. It was about embracing new experiences, seizing growth opportunities, and challenging myself to step outside my comfort zone.

To truly live, we must embrace uncertainty and venture into the unknown.

Can you grow without moving? Is it possible?

Focus on the growth you wish to create for yourself.

Focus on the journey and stay optimistic.

Focus on your values, desires, and goals.

Focus on you!

Be encouraged, be inspired.
